Back in 2019, on 30th December, Coventry Runner were very excited to be selected as one of Theo Paphitis’ #SBS winners.
#SBS stands for Small Business Sunday, and every Sunday on Twitter Theo encourages small businesses to tweet him about themselves and why they are proud of what they do. He then chooses his favourites and retweets them on Monday evening – to over 500k of his followers. Each business is then invited to an annual #SBS event where there are over 200 other like-minded winners, with presentations on how to grow your business and a fireside chat with a special guest, who this year was fellow Dragon Sara Davies.
The highlight of the day is of course the chance to meet Theo Paphitis, and have your winner’s certificate officially presented to you by the man himself – here he is posing with Coventry Runner owner, Anne-Marie Goodwin. It’s a wonderful achievement that we are very proud of, and has introduced us to a very supportive network of lots of other wonderful small businesses.
